Now to the copyright issue. Yes, we need to talk about this because it is important, especially since we bring this baby into the internet
So, my idea is to put the whole thing under a CC-BY-NC-SA-Licence. That means Creative Commons: Everyone is allowed to use, copy and change "the whole thing", as long as he gives proper credit (by), does not make money out of (non commercial) it and has to use this licence too (share alike).
Now what is the whole thing? We have two parts, the game itself and the components it consists of. The difference is that the compiled game can't be turned back into its components so easily and the game is to play, but the components are to create games.
The compiled game will be more less copied without restriction because we WANT people to play it. The credits are within the game anyway. We should only forbid selling it, because that's something we can't do either. Because Pokemon. Licenced by Nintendo and friends. Non-commercial games are more or less endured, like in every fandom. By when we (or someone else) sell this game, we could not only get an angry message from Nintendo but a lawyer bringing it. No fun. Of course that could happen with non-commercial games too, but in this case we can trick them! Because what we use from Pokemon are names (script-files, but somehow fanfiction), pictures (fanart) and music (easy to find ressources), and one by one that can't be forbidden (or the fandom would crumble) so we could just give introductions how to compile the game together again
The other parts: The coding was solely done by me (Myrrhion typed three or four words, but I ignore that), so I can do everything I want with it and I'm putting it under CC-BY-NC-SA. The backgrounds are from morguefile and modified, so we can do with them, what we want, but they aren't really much work, so I would let them fly for free. The vector images, well, from the point of tracing I would want to put them under CC-BY-NC-SA, of course with the note that Pokemon characters are copyrighted themselves somehow, but well, deviantart. But I can only decide that for my vector image, nevertheless I would like the other tracers to agree. Not like you can make money of that anyway. Same goes for writing and writers. With all that one can reconstruct and modify the game. I'm only not giving the music away since they "belong" to the Ghoul (see credits) I think that is everything.
Anyone disagreeing or not giving green light for CC-BY-NC-SA? Any other thoughts?

BUT, as Myrrhion reminded my nicely, since the code isn't in best shape I'd wait for the code release a bit longer.
